Apple, caramel and cinnamon - an unbeatable combination that we combine in these Apple Caramel Protein Bars.
INGREDIENTS
Dough:
60 g oat flour
40 g vanilla protein powder
50g Caramel Peanut Crunch Spread
100 g apple puree
Cinnamon-apple layer:
1 large apple
50 g apple puree
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Caramel layer:
10 Medjool dates
80 ml water
PREPARATION
1. Place all ingredients for the base in a blender - if necessary, process the oat flakes into oat flour beforehand.
2. Press into a mold and chill briefly. In the meantime, cut the apple into small pieces and fry them in a pan with the apple puree and cinnamon. Add to the base and chill again.
3. If the dates are too hard, soak them in hot water for 10 minutes, drain, and then blend them with water in a blender until smooth. Spread them on top of the other two layers and place them in the freezer for 1-2 hours.
4. Cut into 10 equal pieces and top with melted chocolate if desired.
