INGREDIENTS
400g plain tofu
30g cornstarch
1tbsp sesame oil (roasted)
SAUCE
1tbsp sesame oil
1tbsp maple syrup
2tbsp tamari sauce
2tbsp almond or peanut butter
PREPARATIONS
1. Crumble the tofu into large pieces and pat dry as much as possible!
2. Mix tofu well with cornstarch and oil and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C top/bottom heat.
3. In the meantime, mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a cup.
4. Once the tofu is baked in the oven, fry with the sauce at medium to high heat for 1-2 minutes until crispy.
Serve with wild rice, broccoli, zucchini and mushrooms (seasoned with turmeric, curry & ginger)
